Recorded at La Chunky Studios with the creme de la creme of Glasgow's country musicians including, Richard Anderson, Daniel Meade, Lloyd Reid, Ross Wilson, Dave Addison and Garry McFadden, produced and engineered by Johnny Smillie, this album sounds like it just stepped out of Music Row, Nashville in 1963.

Dixie grew up in a caravan on the outskirts of Dalrymple in Scotland. She started playing in bars & went on to play throughout the UK. Dixie went to Nashville in 2016, playing the world famous Tootsie's.She then went on to Memphis and upon her return from Nashville, Dixie completed the recording of her debut album Apple Tree.
